If everyone else was watching the World Cup, would you watch it too?
During the last World Cup in 2014, “more than one billion fans tuned in to watch the final of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil.” I sat down with my friend Mary, who is not a fan of the sport, to talk to her about her experience with soccer and the World Cup. This is important to my end project because in addition to the fans who are already dedicated, I want to see how soccer affects even those who are not invested in the sport, and those who have the potential to become as equally invested as existing fans.
