Initiation or something more

The tale of initiation is one of a pretty hazy. From the moment that a person decides to rush they are working toward the process of being a fully recognized member of a chapter. The thing is that the new members do not know what takes place at initiation. It is an event that normally reveals chapter secrets, people dress well and they sit through a ceremony that is sometimes long and unknown. While I can not speak for all chapters as Anna B’s Cosmo article exposes many tales of hazing, initiation for my chapter is a celebration. The women above, all in white are celebrating the induction of 12 new sisters into the Epsilon Tau chapter of Alpha Sigma Alpha.
