While conducting my research three words kept coming up.

These are the ways in which the women defined their success. Usually one word meaning was tied to another. For instance, being a mother and having the support from your husband for your business, meant that you were able to have a good work/life balance and you were successful. Whether that meant they felt the business was successful or they were was a little more cloudy. Was the business doing well and making money because they were able to be a good owner? Or were they happy that they were able to have it all?

I did notice that a lot of people shied away from linking their success directly to their money. Because at the end of the day who only wants to be known for what’s in their bank account? But realistically it is a very important part in measuring success, especially for business owners.
