Progressives are about uniting and not dividing

In this video by the Independent Journal Review, there is man who wore a Trump shirt with the sign “Hug A Trump Supporter” outside of a Bernie Sanders rally in 2016. The beginning of the video starts with people blowing off the man because of his shirt and sign, but as the video goes on the scene changes. People started going up to the man and interacting with him in a positive way.

The video is just one of many that depicts the differences seen between a Bernie Sanders rally and a Trump rally. Most Progressive people are about connecting with people and understanding them instead of just yelling insults or slurs towards them. Creating a Progressive nation is what we’re aiming for and when we have people who still want to engage with others who don’t have the same beliefs or values we’ll hopefully see progress.
