This is the story of a sorority woman, thinking about the diversity that exists within her chapter. Within the question of diversity within her chapter, she focuses on the fact that a multicultural goal internally may still not generate enough experience. This is something that she opposed the view of in comparison to Elena Marchetti-Bowicks piece on promoting diversity in membership, not in relationships between chapters. In relation to how people in greek life experience race, the interviewee was an asian female and the president of her chapter. The way in which her position affects her outlook on the diversity within her chapter adds another layer to the way in which race is seen. Internal chapter diversity is important but the interactions within the community allows for people create an even greater community.
