Gender equality and equal rights

Where do you find gender equality in India? He and She, the society hasn’t accepted the factthatthey are two branches of the same tree. In contrast, the male branch considers the female branch as manure for it to grow. People possess a notion in our minds that women are to be ruled by men. Women build a wall around themselves in their own skies and they confine themselves within. Even when the government propagates gender equality through documents and gives it to us as a form of sympathy, there our men who mock and consider it as a joke. What we should do from our side is try to get rid of that mentality. Child marriage, female infanticide, domestic abuse, sexual abuse, inequality in workplace, illiteracy, wage gap, inequality in political and financial areas, these are all challenged against gender equality. India is the land of women who have become great through their talents and despite this, the fact that women are still regarded as second class citizens in India should leave us ashamed.
