MediaFire iOS 8 Update Brings New “Power Upload” Feature to iPad and iPhone Users

Today, The MediaFire Team is excited to announce the launch of our native update for iOS 8.

The update brings a variety of new features to our award winning iOS application, including new photo and video playback options, a new “Power Upload” mode for faster data syncing, and a new optimized interface designed to take advantage of the extra screen real estate offered by the iPhone Plus.

The feature that we are most excited to show off is our new “Power Upload” mode, which allows you to effectively double your upload speeds to MediaFire. The feature can be toggled on and off as needed, in order to quickly and easily upload all of your photos and videos from your iPhone or iPad. In our labs, we’ve found that this feature allows iOS users to upload files at double the speed of our competitors. This is great for new MediaFire users looking to upload all of their holiday photos and videos to the cloud.

The MediaFire team has been hard at work building several additional upcoming features, as well as putting the finishing touches on our upcoming top-secret cloud application called “Pool”.
