Q: Hi! Could you introduce yourself?

A: I’m Eric, the founder of the MEDIBEU project!

Q: How are the MEDIBEU token and MEDIBEU point going to be used in the platform?

A: The MEDIBEU tokens (MDB) will have three main usages. (1) Purchase of special promotions; (2) Reward system for “MEDIBEUrators”; and (3) Mean of payment for hospitals to advertise in the platform. The MEDIBEU points (MDP), on the other hand, are reward points accredited to users whenever they share reviews and pictures. MDP points will only be available within the platform and users will be able to exchange them for special promotions.

Q: What is MEDIBEU’s vision?

A: MEDIBEU’s vision is to become the number one medical and beauty global platform. We aim to disrupt the current market by providing transparent and accurate information to all users. The MEDIBEU project will focus on both users that look for services in their own countries as well as users that seek services overseas.

CEO — Seju Lee

Q: Hi! Could you introduce yourself?

A: My name is Seju Lee and I’m the CEO of the MEDIBEU project.

Q: How would you describe the MEDIBEU project?

A: We are experiencing a new era of plastic surgery. Young women are not the only targets anymore, regardless of gender and age, the market is expanding to new heights. MEDIBEU is a global open medical and beauty community platform where all users are able to share their own experiences which in turn serve as a reference point for other potential users. We will not only offer medical services but also services for beauty and tourism.

Q: What is the biggest advantage of MEDIBEU?

A: In my perspective, MEDIBEU has two main advantages. The first one is the open community where user reviews are always verified for validity, leaving no room for information tampering. Secondly, the platform will offer different methods of payment, lowering middleman costs and improving patients’ experience.

COO — Brian

Q: Hi! Could you introduce yourself?

A: My name is Brian and I’m the COO of the MEDIBEU project.

Q: In your opinion, what are the biggest obstacles in the plastic surgery industry?

A: One of the biggest issues with this market are doctors offering services they are not specialized at. By focusing on quantity over quality, patients often end up unsatisfied with the results. Other important issues include excessive marketing and illegal brokers. I’m sure that the MEDIBEU platform is the best answer to all these problems.

Q: So, within that context, what’s the biggest differentiation of MEDIBEU?

A: The platform will offer the best environment for users to search and choose the best hospitals to trust their bodies with. By excluding extreme and misleading advertisements and focusing on transparent reviews, the MEDIBEU platform will ensure higher service quality. We will also not limit our services to plastic surgeries but expand it to health checkups and tourism.

CSO-MinSu Han

Q: Hi! Could you introduce yourself?

A: Hi! I’m MinSu and I’m the CSO of the MEDIBEU project!

Q: Could you tell us about your past experiences?

A: I’m a full stack developer and have worked with many projects such as MC Morning Alarm, Global Kia & Youtube Festival Online Promotion, Starbucks Korea, KFC Korea, Hansom Interiors, Hyundai, NC Soft, KIA and many more. Specially when I was part of the Starbucks Siren app team, I learned the importance of branding, CMS, ISMS and personal data security and how it impacts the user experience.

Q: How would you describe the MEDIBEU platform?

A: As in many markets, word-of-mouth is still one of the most powerful marketing strategies. The problem, however, is often times we are unable to verify the validity of such information. As an open community platform, I believe that MEDIBEU will grow to become the center of all medical and beauty industry with transparent and “beautiful” communication between all users.

CTO — MinSu Kim

Q: Hi! Could you introduce yourself?

A: Hello, my name is MinSu Kim and I’m the CTO.

Q: How did you get into blockchain?

A: The “Blockchain Revolution” book from Don Tapscott gave me great insight into the potential of blockchain. While looking into the core technology of Bitcoin and Ethereum, I realized that there was so much to be done beyond just cryptocurrencies. I believe that the blockchain technology will solve many of the current problems we face, with medical and beauty industries being some of them.

Q: What the blockchain role in the MEDIBEU project?

A: As mentioned by our previous members, one of the goals of the MEDIBEU project is to solve current issues with misleading information and excessive marketing expenses. By using the tamper-proof blockchain technology we are able to get rid of many middlemen, directly connect patients with medical institutions while providing transparent and accurate information. The MDB token will also facilitate cross-border payments for medical tourists.

CMO — Christine

Q: Hi! Could you introduce yourself?

A: Hi, my name is Christine and I’m the CMO.

Q: What is your vision for blockchain projects?

A: More than 10 years have passed since the birth of Bitcoin in 2009 and blockchain has greatly evolved during that time. Currently, blockchain has already gone beyond just an emerging technology. We see many financial institutions already researching the potential of this technology and many other industries already testing its usage. I’m certain about the bright future of blockchain and I’m excited to see how much more it will impact the world.

Q: What is MEDIBEU’s main appeal?

A: MEDIBEU is a global platform meaning that there will be no borders. Medical and beauty tourism is a surging market and the demand for a global platform is growing. Starting from Korea, one of the main markets for medical tourism, we will offer the best services for foreigners and in their own languages. Further on, we will expand to other foreign markets, localize our services and provide translation/interpretation services for the best user experience.
