MediBloc in Korea, signed its 12th medical institution MOU

On October 4th, MediBloc in Korea, the leading global healthcare company, and Woorisoa Medical Foundation, which operates Guro Woorisoa Children’s Hospital and Seongbuk Woorisoa Children’s Hospital, signed an MOU to develop healthcare platform.

On that day, MediBloc in Korea and Woorisoa Medical foundation held an MOU signing ceremony and exchanged the agreement in Woorisoa Children’s Hospital’s conference room with the attendance from key personnels such as Dr. Seongkwan Jung, the chairman of the foundation, and Dr. Eunsol Lee and Dr. Wookyun Kho, co-founders of MediBloc in Korea.

What is Woorisoa Medical Foundation?

Woorisoa Medical Foundation operates Guro Woorisoa Children’s Hospital in Southwest part of Seoul, and Seongbuk Woorisoa Children’s Hospital in Southeast part of Seoul. Both hospitals are worthy to be called the representative Children’s hospitals in the capital area as each hospital is the first Children’s hospital in the respective region and provides a diversified pediatric joint treatment system that consists of 34 specialists from pediatric psychiatry, pediatric radiology, pediatric cardiology, pediatric dentistry.

Details of the cooperation with Woorisoa Children’s hospitals

Through this MOU, both institutions will actively cooperate to build and utilize next generation EHR(Electronic Hospital Record) system and PHR(Personal Health Record) for patients’ convenience and share each institutions facilities, human resources, and networks to achieve these goals.

Dr. Seongkwan Jung, the chairman of the foundation, emphasized “Especially in Korea, the leading IT powerhouse, the 4th industrial revolution is expediting the technological developments in the relevant fields. I expect to give patients the best service as MediBloc, with exceptional blockchain technology, and the foundation, with diverse and robust clinical trial experience, cooperate.”

Through this MOU, Woorisoa Children’s Hospitals will be able to upgrade the service quality of medical service and development in medical data.

Dr. Allen Wookyun Kho, the co-founder of MediBloc in Korea, shared “We will continue discuss the terms to establish this platform and MediBloc in Korea will strive to create ideal case for medical information ecosystem by expanding its business for patients’ safely managing and utilizing their medical data.”

This is MediBloc in Korea’s 12th MOU following the MOU with Severance Hospital, Seoul National University hospital and Cha Medical University that participate in MyData project. MediBloc in Korea will strive to establish patient centric data platform with various institutions and continue to work on expanding the ecosystem. Please give us your support.
