Following the recent announcement of joint research with MGH under Harvard Medical School, MediBloc in Korea proudly announces the 8th strategic partnership with another major medical institution, Chonnam National University Hospital!

CNUH(Chonnam National University Hospital), the newest partner of MediBloc in Korea, is one of the leading medical institutions in Korea and has established the most extensive hospital system across the country. The institution is renowned as the best quality national university hospital by multiple government evaluation standards and is in cooperation with many other medical institutions. Among its hospital system are CNUH main hospital which started from Gwangju Jahye Clinic in 1910, Chonnam National University Bitgoeul Hospital with expertise in dentistry, pediatrics, rheumatism, and degenerative arthritis, and Chonnam National University Hwasun Hospital with expertise in cancer. In addition, CNUH is managing operations of Chonnam National University Gwangju 2nd Geriatric Hospital, Chonnam National University Geriatric Hospital, and Gwangju Senior Technology Center, and is planning to establish the next generation of integrated EHR system as well as medical R&D support center. As a national university hospital and a public medical institution, CNUH strives for excellence in treatment, research, education, as well as public service for vulnerable groups.

At the ceremony, MediBloc in Korea and CNUH stated that they would establish and utilize PHR-based big data with its basis on clinical big data and blockchain. Both parties will closely cooperate and share their infrastructure, network, and HR to achieve shared goals.

Samyong Lee, the director of CNUH, said, “I am very pleased to work with MediBloc in Korea, the leader of blockchain-based PHR platforms, and look forward to providing better patient treatment through this partnership.”

Allen Kho, CEO and co-founder of MediBloc in Korea, said, “We will closely cooperate to build the said platform together. The project will start with building the platform and expand to integrating with all services patients can utilize their PHR. Patients of CNUH will be able to safely manage and utilize their PHR whenever they want.”

MediBloc in Korea has become strategic partners with MGH, Seoul National University Bundang Hospital, Catholic Medical Center, Hanyang University Medical Center, Kyunghee University Dental Hospital and others, and once again proved the feasibility of its platform through another partnership with CNUH.
