Hello, this is the Medipass healthcare app.

Usually, after receiving a prescription from a hospital, you would go to a pharmacy to pick up your medication and take it. However, when you are admitted to a hospital or undergoing a health check, you may be asked to fill out a form that asks for the names of medications you are currently taking. In some cases, you may not be able to remember or write down the names of your medications if you don’t have the medication packaging with you.

Don’t worry, with Medipass, you can easily manage your prescription history.

To use the service, patients simply need to download the Medipass app and verify their identity using one of four options: KakaoTalk, PASS, SMS, or Naver.

This allows you to view your current medications, their effects and benefits, and how many times a day you should take them.

Managing your prescription history has many benefits, such as:

• You won’t forget the medication schedule that your doctor, pharmacist, or nurse taught you.
• You can inform medical staff of the exact medications you are taking during health checkups, hospital admissions, surgeries, etc.
• You can keep track of when you took your medication or injection, and how they affected you.

Medipass shows both the prescription history from the hospital where you received medical treatment and the prescription history from the pharmacy where you picked up your medication. Clicking on a prescription record will allow you to see information such as the prescribing institution, date of prescription, dosage instructions, benefits, precautions, and nutritional deficiencies that may occur due to the medication.

Hospital prescription records are automatically accumulated.

Furthermore, hospitals connected to Medipass will automatically retrieve your prescription history without any additional authentication. You can check if your prescription history is being displayed by going to the “Medical Record” section. The system can retrieve up to 3 years of past records, starting from the day you first connect the hospital.

You can view your pharmacy prescription history without revisiting the pharmacy.

Medipass allows you to retrieve new prescription information from any pharmacy you’ve visited within the last year using four convenient authentication services: KakaoTalk, PASS, SMS message, and Naver, without requiring a public or joint authentication certificate. With simple authentication, you can confirm that your pharmacy prescription history is updated

Note : Prescriptions may be missing from the history if not reported by the pharmacy to government agencies.
