Greetings and vision sharing for the 6th anniversary of MediBloc in Korea
On April 26, 2023, MediBloc in Korea celebrated its 6th anniversary. Thank you to everyone who has watched and supported MediBloc’s growth thus far. Today, we would like to share with you the achievements of Medibloc in Korea over the past year and our direction for the future.
Major business achievements of MediBloc in 2022
Since 2017, MediBloc in Korea has been developing an integrated platform in which individuals become the subject of medical information.
So far, Medibloc in Korea has collaborated with over 100 medical institutions, of which 19 are linked to Medipass and utilize its individual-centered services. Over the past year, Medipass has expanded its number of linked hospitals and launched various features to support healthy living, including Coinwalk and health examination history inquiries. Moreover, we have added a prescription details inquiry function, enabling easy access to prescribed drug and medication information, further supporting a more convenient medical information life.
Recently, Medipass underwent a massive rebranding and renewal, evolving into a medical super app. As a result, Medipass has more than doubled in size compared to last year and continues to grow as an individual-led daily healthcare service with over 700,000 users.
In addition, the next-generation cloud EMR Dr. Palette, operated by MediBloc in Korea, launched more than 21 new features throughout the year and received more than 400 improvements based on field feedback. At KIMES 2023, Korea’s largest medical industry exhibition, MediBloc in Korea introduced the fully improved Dr. Palette, and the possibility was confirmed through great interest from medical staff, with inquiries for introduction increasing by more than 500% compared with the previous month.
In the field, medical personnel were particularly interested in the “mobile EMR” and “insight” functions among the various new features. Mobile EMR, created with Dr. Palette’s own technology, has gained significant attention, as it can form a flexible medical environment in any space within the hospital, such as the laboratory and hospitalization room, as all the major functions provided by the PC can be used on mobile. In addition, “insight,” which graphically visualizes hospital statistics data, has received a great response in the field, with advanced practical functions that enable hospital management strategies and understanding the hospital status.
Due to Dr. Palette’s innovative capabilities, which have been completed and further advanced over the past year, the introduction rate of Dr. Palette has increased by more than 700% compared with the previous year. In addition, in a survey of more than 1,000 doctors, Dr. Palette was ranked as the number one product among cloud EMRs and recorded a high customer satisfaction of 9.7.
Direction of MediBloc in 2023
This year, MediBloc in Korea will do its best to support of faster growth of services (Medipass/Dr. Palette) that contain an individual-centered medical information ecosystem.
Specifically, MediBloc in Korea will actively seek ways to increase user value, with a focus on Medipass and Dr. Palette. Medipass, a personal-oriented service, plans to secure more users by fully linking with Dr. Palette, thereby expanding medical information services, linking medical institutions, and integrating personal life-log data. In addition, Medipass will support various functions necessary for individual medical information management through EMR and expand into a platform in which individuals manage and utilize their data themselves.
Cloud EMR Dr. Palette will aggressively expand its introduction hospital by providing new features and functions. In particular, Dr. Palette plans to develop and deliver the necessary functions to clinics this year.
