Recently, MediBloc has been acknowledged in the global medical industry through a partnership with MGH(Massachusetts General Hospital), the largest practice hospital in Harvard Medical School. This week, we continued to showcase our technology and spread our vision across the world.

On December 4, MediBloc team attended Health 2.0 Asia-Japan conference in Tokyo, Japan. Since its inception, Health 2.0 has been the largest medical conference in the world and drawn a group of medical experts to the event to demonstrate and verify the newest technology and trends in their respective field. MedPeer and Health 2.0 LLC have launched Health 2.0 Asia-Japan in 2015 and have been hosting the event annually since then, with this year’s topic focusing on healthcare innovations brought by data and technology.

As the only Korean company, MediBloc was invited to demonstrate its blockchain technology with other attendees at the conference including Nebula Genomics, co-founded by professor George M. Church, the professor of Genetics at Harvard Medical School and professor of Health Sciences and Technology at Harvard and MIT, and Arteryex, service provider of ‘Health Bank’ application in Japan.

After giving a keynote speech on ‘EHR/PHR innovation brought by blockchain’, John Bass, CEO, and founder of Hashed Health*, showed great interest in MediBloc and discussed with Dr. Allen Kho how the innovation he discussed in his speech could be realized through the platform. It was a great pleasure for our team to see a group of healthcare providers, government officials, and investors agree with MediBloc’s vision and show their support for the project.

*Hashed Health is a leading healthcare innovation firm headquartered in the U.S.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to spread our vision and demonstrate our technology to the world!

MediBloc has signed multiple strategic partnership agreements with medical institutions including Massachusetts General Hospital of Harvard Medical School, Hanyang University Medical Center, Kyunghee University Dental Hospital, and Bestian Foundation. The company has also been selected as the sole provider of the blockchain technology of two government-funded projects by the Ministry of Science and ICT, and have been closely working on the projects with Bundang Seoul National University Hospital and Seoul St.Mary’s Hospital.

MediBloc has been recognized by Forbes as ’10 South Korean Startups Powering Into 2018’ and ‘9 Blockchain And Cryptocurrency Companies All Set For 2019’ in February and August, respectively.
