MediBloc’s KYC(Know-Your-Customer) get started today!

To meet the expectations for many people, we have been preparing safe and easy way to participate in ICO. Before we begin MediBloc token sale event, we proceed KYC process. In this post, explanation about the background regarding the implementations of KYC and the details about KYC procedures will be covered.

KYC Implementation Background

MediBloc team implements KYC in order to protect investors from bad issues and international regulations. Implementing KYC is very inconvenient both for investors and MediBloc team. But by implementing KYC, the MediBloc team can be protected from legal risks and provide the foundation for a more stable development environment, list MED on cryptocurrency exchanges, and enable to make a better connection between community and MediBloc team.

KYC Process Step by Step

Citizens of the USA and China are not allowed to participate in the MediBloc Token Sale.

1. Visit the official MediBloc website (https://medibloc.org/)
2. Click the “Contribute” button
3. Follow the instructions
4. If you see the “KYC APPLICATION COMPLETED”, your KYC process is finished.
5. Your KYC result will be sent to your email.

** Please make sure submitting your information to KYC application page on MediBloc official website.

KYC Data Needed

1. Name(only English), Nationality, Residence, Date of Birth, Gender
2. E-mail address used to register on the official MediBloc website.

KYC Document to Upload

1. Clear copy of Government Issued ID (*must be stated in English Name)
2. **NON-Acceptable form of Identification
   (Facebook Profile, Student card, Identification without Photo, Credit card, Club Membership, Identification not issued by Government, and ect.)
3. Photo of yourself holding your ID (ID must be visible)

KYC Example

1. Do not send any sensitive information.

• To be Covered : ID number, Passport Number, etc.
• To be UnCovered : name, gender, nationality, validation date, and photo

• *Please make sure to provide a clear and readable images. Or, you can not participate in MediBloc Token Sale.

KYC Disapproval

1. KYC Disapprovals
   - USA / China / Singapore nationals.
   - Missing KYC documents.
   - Unqualified account filtered by AML process(ex. illegal money laundering, terrorism related funds, etc.)
2. Corrective Measures on KYC Disapproval
   - The distributed MED Tokens will be locked up (Non-Transferable), and will be burned when the Mainnet launches.
   - Refund of QTUM contributed to the Token Sale.

**Your KYC validation process will be done after ICO, so do DOUBLE CHECK that you submit the right documents and fill out the right information.

Refund Process

1. KYC disapproval notification will be sent to the email account registered on the official MediBloc website (https://medibloc.org)
2. Refund will be made to the address used for the Pre-Sale/Token Sale.
