Greetings from the MediBloc team!

On December 1st, the Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI) awarded its director commendation!

The commendation ceremony, which was held online due to concerns related to the coronavirus pandemic, marks its 19th anniversary this year. It was hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and organized in cooperation with the Korea Health Industry Development Institute.

The commendation is a distinction with tradition and authority in the field of health and medical technology, a field dedicated to spreading the importance of and consensus on the domestic health industry. KHIDI awards individuals and companies who have contributed to fostering and promoting the health industry.

MediBloc in Korea was honored for its contributions to the development of the medical data industry, particularly by applying and distributing the latest technologies, such as blockchain, to the medical industry.

MediBloc in Korea started with the launch of simple insurance claim app Medipass in 2018. Medipass directly links digital medical data to hospitals, including Seoul National University Hospital, Samsung Medical Center, Severance Hospital, and Mokpo Hankook Hospital, to provide services that allow patients to easily manage their medical data and file insurance claims.

In particular, the Pass claim service provided by Medipass has attracted the attention of many institutions and users by significantly improving patients’ experience in managing medical data, given that they can file claims directly to an insurance company linked to Medipass without any documents. Furthermore, MediBloc in Korea has successfully launched and operated its next-generation EHR solution Dr. Palette and is making great strides as a medical data platform through the connection of these solutions.

Dr. Allen Woo-kyun Kho, co-founder of MediBloc in Korea, said,”I think it is thanks to your interest in MediBloc’s project, and this award will be accepted as a means of support for MediBloc. We will continue to inform you of MediBloc’s vision and values and provide new experiences with better services. We will become a MediBloc pursuing innovation.”

The MediBloc team will continue to do our best to create healthcare innovation based on healthcare data.

Thank you.
