MediBloc in Korea signed MOU with The Best Pay

On April 27th, MediBloc in Korea and The Best Pay signed an MOU to establish a healthcare platform payment system. During the signing ceremony, key officials including Gwan-sik Kwon, CEO of The Best Pay, and Dr. Eun-sol Lee and Dr. Allen Wookyun Kho, founders of MediBloc in Korea, enacted the agreement at the MediBloc in Korea’s head office.
The Best Pay is an IT company with more than 20 years of experience in the field of electronic payment solutions and provides a variety of solutions, including payment solutions, platform solutions, and ESG solutions based on electronic payment terminals. Currently, The Best Pay offers reduced credit card affiliate member fees and high-level income deductions through their PAY integrated payment service and cash IC payment patents.
Recently, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, non-face-to-face services have been in the spotlight throughout various fields such as non-face-to-face reception and non-face-to-face payment. The Best Pay has established a mobile payment system for medical expenses utilizing smart devices and applications such as KakaoTalk, QR code/NFC tag banners, and tablets to minimize long waiting lines, reduce unnecessary paper, and maximize work efficiency. In particular, The Best Pay has successfully settled its integrated payment solution with a high share of more than 50% of the hospital payment market.
The Best Pay and MediBloc in Korea shall establish a simplified non-face-to-face payment system for hospitals using Dr. Palette, and will also add MediPass’s easy payment system in the future. Gwan-sik Kwon, CEO of The Best Pay, said, “We expect the agreement with MediBloc in Korea to induce cooperation and create new customer value in healthcare,” adding, “With the signing of the MOU, we plan to actively diversify our platform business not only in MediPass, but also in the payment solutions business.”
