Hello, this is MediBloc team.

Last week, MediBloc team held its first DevCon in Korea. This event, titled “Developing blockchain platform A to Z”, was the first time developers at MediBloc in Korea had a chance to share their experiences with the blockchain development process, problems they confronted, and their products. More than 300 people applied to be part of this event, but due to the limited space, only the first 50 people who applied were invited to the conference.

At the DevCon, MediBloc in Korea had the opportunity to share its experiences and concerns about decentralized system development, not only with developers but also with various groups who are interested in blockchain technology. In addition, it had a festival atmosphere, so it was easy and fun to share developments that seemed relatively difficult to understand through development-related quizzes.

For those who sadly could not participate in MediBloc DevCon, we prepared a review of the events.

Lots of participants came to the conference and waited for their entry before the event began.

The participants introduced themselves to each other before the session started and actively communicated with others who have their own unique development expertise.

Amy and Hojin from the marketing team introduced each member of MediBloc in Korea and conducted the quiz session, where the winners got lots of prizes — including a Realforce keyboard, a coveted item among developers.

Minkyu Cha, the lead developer at MediBloc in Korea, explained the issues and concerns surrounding the development of blockchain technology in a way that was easy to understand and interesting.

Participants talked about their interests during the lecture conducted by Minkyu Cha.

Kwangho Lee, Seungwhan Kim, Heekyu Kim, and Minkyu Cha held a panel discussion on the development of MediBloc Korea’s culture and environment.

At the end of the conference, we prepared for the quiz session. And one guy luckily got the first prize, Realforce Keyboard.

One of the developers in attendance, Yunsu Guk, said, “People in the development industry are very interested in blockchain technology, which is considered to be the core technology of the 4th wave of the industrial revolution. However, there hasn’t been a place to share development details and concerns with other developers who had experience with blockchain development anywhere. It was a good chance for developers to share their knowledge and thoughts on the technology at this DevCon. Also, if you have a second MediBloc DevCon, I will definitely be there.”

The MediBloc team will continue to provide opportunities for people interested in blockchain technology to share and experience their blockchain knowledge and concerns.

We appreciate everyone who came and showed their support for our project!

Stay tuned for more news and updates 🙂
