On November 24, 2020, MediBloc in Korea successfully completed the linkage between Medipass and Mokpo Hankook Hospital, so now those who visit the hospital can easily retrieve their medical history data using Medipass, plus they can make insurance claims much more conveniently.
Mokpo Hankook Hospital is the largest general hospital in the Muan-Sinan-Mokpo region of Jeollanam-do, South Korea, with over 70 specialists and 600 beds. It is the best hospital in the area, with medical helicopter service and special medical centers focusing on brain disease, cardiology, and major trauma. Founded in 1988, Mokpo Hankook Hospital was designated by the Ministry of Health and Welfare as a regional emergency medical center in August 2000.
Dr. Allen WooKyun Kho, CEO of MediBloc in Korea said of the addition of Mokpo Hankook Hospital: “We are pleased to be able to successfully complete the linkage with Mokpo Hankook Hospital. We will secure a healthy MediBloc medical information network with all the insurance companies and medical institutions that are striving to build a patient-centric platform, and through this, we will be able to provide patients with more convenient insurance billing services. We plan to create a good example of InsureTech which combines blockchain authentication and medical information network technology by expanding the scope of our business to safely manage and utilize medical information.”
MediBloc in Korea will continue focusing on building a patient-centric platform and increasing linkages with various insurance companies and medical institutions nationwide. We will do our best to build the medical ecosystem that MediBloc dreams of, and we ask for your interest and support as we move forward!
