Greetings from MediBloc team!

We have expanded the Medipass loss insurance simple-claim service to patients at Yonsei University Yongin Severance Hospital. On August 20, MediBloc in Korea successfully linked all Severance hospitals with Medipass, a blockchain-based simple insurance-claim app, and Yongin Severance Hospital, a senior general hospital. Patients at Yongin Severance Hospital and other linked Severance hospitals can easily retrieve their medical history data using Medipass to claim loss insurance more conveniently. You can also download Medipass by clicking the ‘Claims’ tab within the hospital’s mobile app.

Yongin Severance Hospital, which opened in March 2020, is the only university hospital in Yongin City and has established a 5G network-based digital innovation hospital as a leading model for smart hospitals in the Korea medical community. This provides fast and accurate care for patients and precise and reliable systems for medical staff. In addition, it provides advanced medical services by sharing the medical infrastructure of Sinchon, Gangnam, and Yongin, and has an efficient circular medical care system between medical staff and hospitalization specialists.

A hospital linked to Medipass can access all of its medical records from the last three years once a patient has completed a simple self-certification. In addition, patients with Medipass-linked insurance companies can claim loss insurance with up to 5 touches.

Dr. Lee said, “I am happy to successfully link Medipass with Yongin Severance Hospital of Yonsei University Medical School. We expect that all patients who attend Severance Hospital, Gangnam, and Yongin Severance Hospital will be able to check their medical history and make insurance claims easier through the Medipass app,” he said. “We will continue to try to create best practices in the medical information ecosystem by expanding the scope of our business to help patients manage health information safely.”

We hope you will be happy with the expansion of the Medipass service, and MediBloc in Korea will continue to actively attract cooperative medical institutions and companies to expand our platform.

We appreciate everyone’s continued support!
