Medicohealth signed an agreement with SRC Infonet!
At the end of October 2018, Medicohealth signed a Joint Venture Agreement with SRC Infonet Ltd.
SRC Infonet is a company with a 25-year tradition of the active role in informatization of the Slovenian health care system and connects over 50 experts in the field of mathematics, computer science, and informatics. Knowledge and experience in the field of health informatics combined with fresh, original ideas, modern information technologies and standards are the reasons that SRC Infonet covers more than 80% of healthcare software in Slovenia.
Healthcare research
Our healthcare market research from the beginning of 2018 shows that up to 60% employees in healthcare in Slovenia are focused mostly on unnecessary administration and bureaucracy, the work processes are not optimized and the result is inefficient care of patients and very long waiting periods.
Because of this worrying situation MedicoHealth combine power with SRC Infonet and implement software solutions that are enabling us to manage:
1) 5000 microbiological samples daily: By using our Microbiology LabSoft software, we are helping our users process up to 5.000 samples daily. Our solutions are connected to various information systems and permit full data exchange as well as remote authorization. With this solution, we can lower costs up to 25% yearly.
2) 3.500 patient requests for prescriptions daily: We are pioneers in the field of electronic prescriptions. Besides having led the national consortium that developed nationwide e-prescription system, we also have own web apps that permit patients to order new prescriptions being issued by their doctor. Our most straightforward web application already handles up to 3.500 orders yearly, while the national e-prescription system already reached more than 15 MIO prescriptions from the year 2015. With this solution, we can lower costs on the national level up to 35% yearly.
3) 1.000 automatic patient admissions daily: Our patient terminal for self-check-in handles typically approx. 1.000 patient admissions daily per hospital. QueueMate is a device that is easy to use. Upon arrival, the patient in the waiting room inserts the health card into the machine and is automatically logged into the waiting queue. The touchscreen provides the possibility to allow registration also without a health card since other means of check-in can be implemented on-screen. With this solution, we can lower costs up to 30% yearly.
4) 1.000 booked patient appointments monthly: Our web platform for patient apps allows secure communication from the Hospital Information System to third-party apps. One of such is our booking software that allows a patient to find free timeslots in real-time and book an appointment. There is no need for medical staff to copy appointments, as the booking software is connected to the HIS and it can be integrated into private health systems without HIS. More than 10.000 users have already scheduled more than 13.000 appointments without wasting their time by waiting for a free phone line or by unnecessary doctor visits. With this solution, we can lower costs up to 45% yearly.
