How-To: Invite someone to Medium

…Or start writing on Medium

As long as someone has a Twitter account, they can write on Medium.

Inviting someone to write on Medium

Here’s how:

1. Go to Medium home page.
2. Create a New Collection (found on the bottom left corner, beside New Post)
3. Name this Collection, something simple like “Invite to Medium”
4. On the right of the New Collection page, click “Invite Only”, under, “Who can contribute?” (It is set to “Anyone” by default)
5. Type the Twitter handle of the person you wish to invite to write on Medium and click Add.

That’s it, the person you just added, should now receive an email with instructions to join.

You can either delete the collection you just created, or can invite other writers to Medium, just by adding more collaborators.
