“Fat Fingers” Tablet-based Data Entry
Replaces Standard Dropdown Menus

In response to popular demand from users who engage MEDIVIEW on a tablet computer without a keyboard, we have modified our pick-list / dropdown menus so that they can be viewed in a full-screen mode, ideal for use with gloved fingers. This is a setting that the BLT team can apply for you.
The “fat finger” layout only appears in MEDIVIEW MOBILE, since it is meant for use in the field (e.g., where gloves may be needed). HUB and BEACON were designed for desktop use, therefore they employ a more traditional dropdown menu style.
If you prefer to use a more traditional dropdown on MOBILE — as opposed to the “fat finger” full screen mode — please let us know so that we can ensure you have the correct settings applied.
