Hippocrates Beta 2.3 is now officially live on the Ropsten testnet. With this release we are opening up the physician side of the DApp. With beta testers submitting and diagnosing cases this will more closely simulate the live peer-to-peer environment of the DApp. Since all cases are encrypted, no third party (not even the MedCredits team) will be able to view or diagnose cases that aren’t specifically assigned to them.

We previously published a blog post on our autonomous agent, and will be using that again when beta testers add themselves as physicians on the DApp. To add yourself as a doctor, follow these 2 steps:

  1. Pick a doctor name and register yourself as a doctor during step 3 of the on-boarding modal (if you skipped this previously, you can open the on-boarding modal by clicking “Account” and “Beta Features” from the drop-down menu).
  2. Once your transaction from step 1 is finished, register your account public-key so that patients can encrypt their cases specifically for you.

There are a few new features in beta 2.3. For convenience we have added a case-counter so that the doctor always knows if there are cases waiting to be diagnosed.

Most importantly, we have completely redesigned the physician interface with an easy to use form for diagnoses and recommendations. We have also created templates for patient counseling and medication side effects.

Once again, our goal is solely to stress test the app and obtain user feedback. The app is NOT to be used for real medical problems at this time as there are not yet licensed doctors evaluating cases.

Getting started

  1. Download the MetaMask Extension (Chrome / Firefox) or the Cipher mobile browser (iOS / Android).
  2. Go to https://hippocrates.medcredits.io. Make sure your MetaMask or Cipher wallet is set to the Ropsten Testnet.
  3. Follow the onscreen instructions as shown below to register and obtain free testnet ETH / MEDT tokens from our public faucet.

If you have any questions or would like to report a problem on the app, please let us know on our telegram channel or the “Give Feedback” link in the bottom right hand corner of the app. Thanks for your participation!
