An old female with Left Breast Cancer

Background: It has been reported that more than half of women who develop stage IV breast cancer, the bones are the first site of metastasis. Even though breast cancer can spread to any bone, it has been found that the most common sites include the ribs, spine, pelvis, and long bones in the arms and legs.

Clinical History: 68 years female, Ca Left Breast diagnosed in Oct 2011, Chemo August 2012, external beam radiation therapy (EBRT) -2016 and has been on hormone treatment. NaF PET/CT for bony metastasis.

Our Findings: This is an abnormal NaF PET/CT Bone study.

Extensive osteoblastic metastases with significant patchy sclerosis in axial and appendicular skeleton.
