Late summer change log: XP Boosting is here! (and other things)

The team has been working hard this summer to make MEE6 even more useful for your server. This is what we’ve been up to while you were chilling by the pool (lucky you).

XP Boosting

You’ve asked for it and now it’s done: if you feel earning XP was too much of a grind and that even farming gold in vanilla WoW was easier, well now you can just change the rate at which XP is given in your server.

Allow members to gain XP from 4 times slower (x0.25) to 3 times faster (x3)

Along with this update we’ve rolled out a couple of other changes which include:

Auto renaming of muted members

Enabling this option will make MEE6 automatically rename all muted members to make it clear that they’re muted. You can customize how to rename the user in the moderator plugin:

Here, a user called “John” will be renamed to “[Muted] John”

Revamp of the music plugin

The music plugin has gone through a long-overdue makeover. No need to type !join before playing anymore, and you can directly !search for the desired tracks. All the changes are described in another article here:
