Meebits Snapchat AR Lens
BREAKING NEWS: Meebits have broken out of the metaverse and into the real world!!
We are excited to announce the launch of the Meebits Snapchat Augmented Reality (AR) lens — the first product launch of 2022 by the MeebitsDAO!
This AR lens allows you to bring six Meebits into the real world. You can toggle between the face lens, which includes eye-blinking and mouth movements, or the full-body lens that will track arms, legs, and body movements.

You can also use the lens through the Snap Camera desktop application to stay anonymous as a Meebit in Google Meet, Zoom, or Twitch live streaming!
1) Download the Snap Camera application:
2) Copy and paste this URL in the “Search Lenses” field:

Selecting the Meebits for the Snapchat AR lens
The MeebitsDAO ran a Twitter contest to select five Meebits to include in the Snapchat AR lens. We received over 70 submissions and the five Meebits that received the most likes and retweets were selected to be included in the lens. These Meebits are representative of the gender and racial diversity reflected in the collection.
The Meebits Snapchat AR lens was funded by the MeebitsDAO by affirmative vote on February 16, 2022. If you want to make an AR lens for your Meebit, we can add additional Meebits for 0.25 ETH each.
