Task Notes

Users are able to add notes to tasks as a conversation thread, discussing the question being asked in the task. Notes can still be added to a task even after it gets resolved, allowing relevant conversations to continue.

To be able to add a new note to a task, click the speech bubble icon and type in your comment.

An entry is captured in the item log for added and deleted notes.

There is also a permalink for each note added that can be shared to anchor directly to this note. To access it:

Task notes inherit the same permissions of log notes. All user roles can add notes to tasks. Contributors and journalists can delete the notes they add themselves, while editors and owners can delete any notes.
