Configuring your board’s WiFi connection has never been this easy!

If you are using ESP8266 based boards, then we have a special treat for you! The Meeo Arduino Library features AP Mode for ESP8266 based boards. With the AP Mode feature, you won’t have any problems configuring your board’s WiFi connection!

If you move your board to a different location and the previous WiFi connection was not detected by the board, it will automatically switch to AP Mode. When the board is in AP Mode, the board has become like a WiFi router. You will be able to see it as an available network when you check your computer’s WiFi settings.

Configuring the board is easy to do, find and connect to the network that has “Meeo-” on the SSID. Using a browser, type: http://192.168.4.1/?ssid={YourWiFiSSID}&pass={YourWiFiPassword} on the browser search bar and click/press enter.

Your browser should give you the message: {connect:true}. If you see the message, type: http://192.168.4.1/connect on the browser search bar and click/press enter. Your browser should not respond anymore. At this time you should wait until your board connects on the new WiFi connection.
