Long Weekends

We’ve all had that feeling. Take Friday and perhaps Monday off and travel somewhere. Bring the family, bring the significant other or just yourself. What’s your pleasure? A quick trip to the coast (if you are near one). Perhaps you want to indulge in gaming, fine dining and shopping in Las Vegas. This is the time of the year to go skiing in the mountains. Or even taking a drive down to another part of the state to explore. Heck, leave the country for a weekend. Either to Canada or Mexico.

We’ve all considered the options but today, it’s very easy to do, and even at the last moment. Whether it is a holiday weekend or your own personal holiday, see what’s out there. There something for everyone. If you have small children (like me), you know some of these types of trips are to places like Disneyland or Legoland near San Diego or if you are and your significant other are foodies or wine connoisseurs, we in the Bay Area are near some of the best wine producing regions. Napa, the Tri-Valley, Sonoma, etc.

Plan something now for an upcoming extended weekend. Get away from the usual routine of life. Work, school, housework and so on. It may not be a 3 week vacation but it is a timeout we all can use on occasion.
