Meet Taylor Owen…

“With the combination of an amazingly talented cast and production team, this is absolutely one of the best shows I’ve ever had the pleasure to be a part of……Everyone should see this production, or they will miss something really great and really really special.” — Taylor

Taylor graduated from Plano West Senior High School and is now a Sophomore at Collin College. Selected roles include Denizen in A View from the Bridge (Collin Theatre Center), The Beadle in Sweeney Todd (Plano West) and Fenwick/Tom in An Experiment with an Air Pump (Plano West).

Q: What role do you play in Les Misérables?

A: I play multiple roles- Innkeeper, Factory Man, Major Domo and in the Ensemble

Q: When you aren’t onstage, what do you do?

A: Building the huge set. Writing a play, and editing another one! Watching House of Cards.

Q: What made you audition for Les Mis?

A: Les Mis is one of my absolute favorite shows and I didn’t want to miss the chance to work with such incredible actors/singers, technicians, and of course Brad, Mark, Vonda & Paula.

Q: Tell us about the process so far.

A: The process has been crazy, but in the best way possible! I also have been helping with set construction; seeing the show go up from two different perspectives has been by far one of the most rewarding learning experiences ever.

Q: If you could play any role in any play/musical, what would it be?

A: William Barfeé in 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

Q: What are your plans for the future?

A: I hope to be a working actor, director and playwright one day!
