Meet the Staff

Alissa Oakes

In keeping with our Meet the Staff program today we will be highlighting another awesome Benson Systems employee—Alissa Oakes. She has worn a few different hats with the company; monitoring account admin, an office manager and now a Project Administrator.

She was born in Arizona, and has lived in the same neighborhood as Mr. Benson and his family since she was in Kindergarten.

Alissa enjoys taking vacations to California, and her favorite place to visit in Arizona is Sedona. Some of her most memorable vacations took place in Rocky Point, Mexico with the Benson family.

She is currently single and happily living with her darling dog, Seamus.

The last book she read was Twilight. Now we know what you’re thinking—Jacob or Edward? This question seems to plague teenage girls all over the country, but she chose Edward.

When we asked her what her favorite food was, she replied Mexican food or pizza.

Alissa hobbies are hiking, working out, cooking, photography, and spending time with her family and friends.

She currently has an associate’s degree in business, but she dreams of becoming a veterinarian so she’d be able to spend time with various animals every day.

This young lady enjoys working at Benson because “we act like a huge dysfunctional family that always makes it through by the end of the day. Everyone here has high expectations for each other and also themselves. We listen to each other and never consider anyone’s idea a bad one. It’s the exact opposite of working for a corporate business and I love it. I believe the customers enjoy this trait most about Benson also. The relationship level is not just business but an actual friendship with our customers.”
