We went back to Japan for a week, but time passed quickly and now I am writing this in Negros Occidental, Philippines.

I was busy while I was in Japan: researching about traveling in Japan and booking, interpreting Japanese and English with Chris, and blogging about the whole trip.

We had a nice time in Japan. We didn’t do any big trip this time, but we had a couple of long walking which was very interesting.

Then, on Tuesday 25 April, we left for the Philippines, avoiding the Golden Week crowds in Japan. We flew to Manila just for a transit and we came all the way to Bacolod, Negros Occidental. And now we are at the sweetly named Sugar Beach, 160 km further from Bacolod.

We would love to relax on the beach, but three days are enough for us. Tomorrow we will move on to another city.

The Philippines is not that exciting for me, to be honest, but tomorrow we are heading to another small island where we can snorkel. We are heading to a place called Apo Island. Tomorrow we are still one step ahead of that, and we will stay overnight in a town where there is a landing place where boats leave for Apo Island.

I guess the one thing I'm glad about being in the Philippines is that I get to eat rice every day for now (and another thing is that it's not cold).

Today's lunch

I think we’ll be snorkelling for days again after tomorrow. I hope so.
