At last, we are pleased to announce the launch of the Private Beta of the Beam app for iOS users! Preview it here.

Starting today we will begin onboarding waitlisters weekly, beginning with those at the top of the list and adding others on a phased, rolling basis. If you have already verified your email with us, you will receive an email with pre-onboarding instructions only when your spot is called on. It may take some time to get to you, so we appreciate your continued patience.

64% of our community on the Beam waitlist use an iOS/iPhone device, which is why we have decided to launch the iOS app first. If you’re an Android user, don’t worry: You won’t lose your spot in line. Though you will be passed over for the moment, as soon as the Android app is released in a few months, you will be taken off of the waitlist in the same order as the iOS users.

With the launch of the Private Beta, we are one step closer to making “fair banking” a reality. It’s time to say “bye” to 0.01% a year and “Helloooo!” to 2–4% a year.

Checking Your Waitlist Status

Not sure of where you stand in line? Checking your spot on the waitlist takes just a few easy steps:

1. Go to www.meetbeam.com.
2. Enter your email address, and you’ll be taken to your reservation page, where you can check your current spot on the waitlist as well as how many spots you will move up for your next referral.

Be sure to use your unique referral link (shown on your reservation page), so that you can be credited for each referral you make. In some cases, your next referral can move you up by thousands of spots.
