We Heard You! Announcing Trial Account Rollout

Dear Fellow Beam-Lievers,

Earlier this year, we polled members of our community and asked if they would be interested in a Trial Account for Beam. More than 93% of our community members told us they would be interested.

At Beam, our community’s wish is our command. We’re now excited to announce that we are stepping into Phase 2 of our journey together, with the rollout of the Beam Trial Account!

Starting next week, we will begin reaching out to qualified members on the Beam waitlist (see details below on qualification criteria) to start onboarding them for the Beam Trial Account, so that they can see what Beam is all about first-hand, and start earning sooner.

The Trial Account will be available on the iOS platform first, followed by Android. (If you are an Android user, don’t worry: The Beam Trial Account for Android is scheduled to be released in August 2018. You will be notified once it is ready.)

TRIAL ACCOUNT HIGHLIGHTS

The Beam Trial Account will have the same features as the Beam Private Beta, but is one where you can only deposit up to $400. This way, you can experience the Beam app first-hand and earn 2–4% a year for your balance, while waiting for your priority access to the Private Beta. (Private Beta users can deposit up to $15,000.)

Opting-in for a Trial Account does not change your position on the waitlist for the Private Beta, but will enable you to test drive the Beam experience sooner. (Funds will be insured by Evolve Bank & Trust; member FDIC.) To qualify to immediately download the Trial Account, you’re required to have been a “referrer”, i.e. have invited at least one friend to the Beam waitlist who has verified his/her email.

Two things to keep in mind:

• If you decide to sign up for the Trial Account, don’t worry — you WON’T lose your spot in line for the Private Beta. Once your spot in the Private Beta opens, you will be notified by email. (Make sure your email is verified! Ask us if you don’t know how.)
• Because users in the Trial Account are still on the waitlist for entry into the Private Beta, any referrals made will continue to move you up the waitlist for the Private Beta, getting you closer to accessing the Private Beta sooner.

HOW TO QUALIFY TO GET ACCESS

To qualify to receive an invitation to the Beam Trial Account, all you have to do is to refer at least one friend to join the Beam waitlist through your unique referral link (like the one below) from your waitlist status page, and make sure your friend verifies his/her email. That’s it!
