Update
We had the pleasure to meet the new Chief Executive Officer at Bank of Ireland Francesca McDonagh last Monday. We have received great support from Bank of Ireland so far from David Tighe, Gene Murphy and the whole #BOIStartups team and we look forward to continuing this relationship going forward: watch this space — whitepaper coming soon.
One of our co-founders, Abey, met up with Kevin Leung, Head of Shenzhen Vive, while out in China. They had some interesting discussions on the future uses of VR in education in Hong Kong.
Product
Update on product this month includes updates on room functionality, avatar setup and whiteboard upgrades! We’ll be adding another batch of users this month, keep an eye on your email.
People
We’re happy to announce that Don is joining us full time now, after a trial by fire he came through the other side and we’re proud to have him join us for the long term with meetingRoom. So we stuck up a silly picture of Don on his first day :) Company’s are built on people, and we are happy to have Don on board for the journey, we couldn’t do what we do without him.
NDRC
We joined the pre-accelerator at the end of September and it’s been a fantastic experience so far. We’ve hammered in on our platformbusiness, learned a lot from our amazing cohorts ambitions and our Venture Lead Dermot Casey. It’s a great programme with fantastic resources (inclusing hotdesking) which we can’t recommend enough, led by the amazing Helen Fullen, who pushes us all every week to make an impact on our business.
