This #remotework update comes from Taormina, Sicily. We’ve been hanging out here for the week (It’s Jonny’s dad’s 60th, not a bad complaint!). It’s just ahead of the #G7 and it’s pretty quiet with all the diplomats ariving over the coming days.

News

There’s been a lot going on over the long hot summer, so here’s a quick roundup of what’s been going on!

Product Update

We are doing final check on early access and set to release for September on schedule — make sure you add yourself to the waitlist for now! Finally we will be able to share the first iteration of meetingRoom to the public. It’s been a long and bloody few months but we are finally on the home stretch.

Innovation Voucher

We’re over the moon to have received an Innovation Voucher from Enterprise Ireland to help us work with University College Dublin to add some new bells and whistles to the platform.

#VRforWork

We have been busy introducting more company’s to the potential of #VRforWork. From sales to HR to customer support, we explored it all! Thanks to the NDRC and Accenture for having us down and great to meet other companies such as Artomatix, Warducks, Opening.io and Bizimply.

Scaling Project

We had the pleasure of working with a team of MBAs in Trinity College Dublin as part of their Scaling Project. Through our timeline the guys hammered into what we wanted achieve and how we were going to do it. Our thanks to all the team at Trinity Business: Michael, Kelsey and the whole team, for a great experience: we walked away with a lense of wisdom from a great team.

Team

We’ve had some new people joing the team — we’d like to welcome Donnachadh and Dominic to the team!

Convercon

We had a fascinating time learning about more about what’s going on in the #AI and #chatbot world, and we had the pleasure of demoing meetingRoom for attendees with our some of out team beaming in as avatars for the event. Paul Sweeney & Co put on a great show — we recommend it!
