This week we’re giving an update from our new home at the Startlab, Dublin, powered by Bank of Ireland.

We’ve had a busy time since our last post. We are well and truly on the way to introducing an amazing communications in the new year, and on the road to release we are doing a huge amount of customer development to dig deeper into improving focus and engagement in meetings. In that spirit, we’ve hit the road to meet as many of you as possible. Thanks for all the support so far.

Product

You’ve had months of updates, and not enough footage of the product! This week, see one of the tests we were running last week going live in the next release. Command & Control Voice has arrived :)

We’re doing our next release to users in November — if you want to apply to join this cohort, please click below.

New Home @ Startlab, Dublin

Our space on the second floor — the VR Lab — desks , whiteboards & VR

We have settled into our new home for the next 6 months at the Bank of Ireland Startlab’s inauguaral Fintech Startups. We’re looking forward to a great time, led by the team at Bank of Ireland. Dave, Gene & Carolyn have a busy few months prepared for the first cohort going through, we’re looking forward to it. The Startlab is a much needed resource in Dublin for startups and we’re glad to be on board.

The Auditorium

Enterprise Ireland Induction Day

Last Tuesday we were inducted in with the other great startups here in the Startlab to meet with Enterprise Ireland. We are part of the Fintech Cohort (probably good time to mention we were awarded the Competitive Start Fund last month!) and have a busy 6 months ahead of us. We had speakers in from Bank of Ireland and Enterprise Ireland to help us make best use of their resources as we build our businesses.

Startup Boost

Startup Boost’s Home @ Google

Last week we kicked off with the Startup Boost, a pre-accelerator geared up to help us proceed forward every Wednesday evening. We had an evening full of elevator pitches, feedback from an incredible group of people and meeting a great cohort of companies to grow with.

NDRC — That’s a Wrap!

Gary Leyden, Commerical Director NDRC, giving a last session roundup on why the NDRC is the best place to start s business in Ireland.

Over the past few weeks we’ve deliberated business models, worked on building out our roadmap to success and most importantly, learned a lot from each other along the way. We just wanted to say a huge thank you to everybody at the NDRC, especially Helen Fullen and our Venture Leader Dermot Casey, and the other members of our cohort. We had a fantastic time working with some incredible teams, took on board come critical feedback and the best of luck to everybody pitching for Launchpadand Catalyzer!

Happy Birthday Rowan!

UXDX

Since we’re in customer development mode, we sent our dev team into the wild to get some feedback. What better place to do this than UXDX, where the theme for the conference was the challenges in product development. We had an amazing day and thanks to all the team for providing with such a great spot, and our thanks to all attendees and speakers who were more than up for giving us some great feedback to build into the platform. Looking forward to next year already!

Goodies: Unboxing Daydream View

Post is usually fun, and this week didn’t disappoint — have a quick goo at our first look at the new Google Daydream View. More coming soon but for now late night VR unboxing video!

Local Innovation Fund Investor Ready Programme

We had had a great journey working towards pitch day with this exceptional group of Dublin businesses. We wish the best to everyone in the future and hope everybody makes a great pitch this week. Our special thanks to the LEO and Optimum, especially Eoin Costello — we got some expert advice and training over the past few months.
