When surveying 1,000 doctors in the past asking: “What is the main reason you would refer to clinic A over clinic B?” an overwhelming number of those surveys came back saying ”Patient results as spoken by the patient.” So in keeping with that survey data, we felt it is important to teach you how to give patient data directly back to the referral source in 3 easy steps:
- Request and collect a success story from the patient when they have had a positive experience in your clinic.
- Scan the handwritten success story into an electronic file able to be inserted into a promo piece.
- Create the promo piece to include the following:
1. At the top saying “This is what YOUR patient had to say about _____________ (name of your clinic here)
2. Include the scanned electronic version of the success story in the promo piece by copying and pasting on.
3. Rewrite the success story in typed format next to the scanned in copy to keep any illegible handwriting from being confused.
4. Have an invitation to refer more patients your way on the promo piece
5. Include ALL your contact information in the promo piece so they can get in touch with you.

Seal in an envelope and write the referral source’s name on the front of it and hand deliver it to the referral source’s office.
