Fees and Mechanism
As an introductory offer for merchants, there will be zero fee listings for a month. Merchants do not need to pay for any sales on the platform for 1 month from listing. Thereafter, it will be kept at a low 10% transaction fee for every successful purchase.
For new merchants, products will be featured on the landing page and will have key visibility on category pages as well for 1 month.
Deposits
MegaXstore will serve a regulatory function in the case of mediation and also to ensure top level curation of merchants and products. MegaXstore also aims to be a secure and safe platform for transactions to scale.
Merchants will be required to:
- Deposit 100MGX initially upon approval.
- Deposit 1000MGX when volume of transactions crosses 10000MGX a month.
- Deposit 10,000MGX when volume of transacitons crosses 100,000MGX a month.
- Deposit the equivalent of 1/10 of the monthly transactions at intervals of 10,000 MGX (e.g deposit 10,000MGX if volume is at 199,000MGX and 20,000MGX if volume is at 201,000MGX). Partial deposits will be refunded if transaction volume falls below thresholds.
All deposits are 100% refundable when the merchant withdraws from the marketplace.
