Why do we love superheroes so much? Is it the powers? The belief in something bigger than ourselves? Or is it the dope fucking costumes they get to wear? I’m guessing that since we’re a visual society, a lot of it comes down to those costumes. After all, if you really don’t want people to fuck with you, you have to look the part.
