Some films, however, go one step further and are about distance itself. Case in point: This weekend’s Mile 22, a movie about a paramilitary team transporting a foreign intelligence asset—you guessed it—22 miles, from an American embassy in Southeast Asia to an airfield; soon, though, they find themselves attacked by the city’s police, military and gangs. Sounds fun.
