Take 5 mins a day to be grateful, it will change your life

“Count your blessings”

We wake up, we go to work, we get busy, we go back home, we eat, and we press the repeat button. Why?

Because it is our routine and we are used to it. We don’t even try to change our habits, everything fits perfectly. But do we take time to press pause? Do we take time to find 5 mins in our fast paced lives to be thankful to what we have? Most of us don’t..and that’s why I am writing this article.

Each day is a blessing even though sometimes it’s hard to realise it. Everyday you live again. Start your day or find 5 mins during your day to be thankful to what you have. It can be your wife, your husband, your family, your job, your house or just be thankful to be alive.

“I am alive and that’s a blessing”

Find things in your life that you are thankful for having. Take 5 mins to make this mental list and just say “Thanks”. If you do that everyday, you will soon realise how lucky you are. You won’t take anything for granted and you will fight to keep everything you have. In a glimpse of a second, everything you had that seemed yours could fall down and then what are you going to do? You have to fight for what you love each day!

Taking 5 mins to say “Thanks” will bring you joy, peace and happiness.

So, say it! Find one think you are thankful for right know and say : I’m thankful for having ….

You see?

You are already on a great path to happiness.
