In our Dev Diaries, we explore the ongoing enhancements and refinements to the MELDapp. Here’s last week’s progress:

MELDapp Enhancements — Cardano Chain:

  • Users are now alerted about outdated MELD token usage.
  • Messari syncs ERC20 tokens on the mainnet.
  • An admin portal page is available for the playground.
  • Subgraph tracking has a new repository with initial configurations.
  • Local EVM nodes and a graph node were set up via nix-shell for tracking-subgraph repository.
  • New generic tags for multisig have been deployed.
  • The WalletConnect integration UI layout has been designed for multisig.
  • A mock ERC20 token has been deployed on a private testnet using foundry.
  • WalletConnect research is ongoing.
  • Events for ‘getutxos’ and ‘collaterals’ for multisig addresses have been handled.
  • We’ve implemented balance event management.

Application Refinements:

  • API stability has been improved, ensuring a smoother user experience.
  • Sentry was added for better error tracking.
  • End-to-end testing coverage has been expanded.
  • WalletConnect integration is underway.
  • The app now has a balance refresh button.

Other:

  • Backfilling occurred for missing users on EngageBay due to the rate limit error. Currently investigating.

Infrastructure:

  • We’re reviewing platform sizing to optimize infrastructure.
  • A new version of Cardano multisig has been released.
  • New iOS team members have been onboarded.
  • Our infrastructure has migrated from Alchemy to Zeeve.
  • Sentry is now active in our backend.
