Lower Johnson st. is just across the new Johnston St bridge. Is a fun collection of individual clothing shops and related shops. Market Square is worth a visit, enjoy the character brightly painted architecture that leads up the street from the harbour.
China Town on Fisgard St. Fun shopping and food, booster juice and restaurant food spots.
Fan Tan Alley links China Town and Harold St. Shops and old Victoria interest.
Fort St starts in the heart of downtown at the water, crosses through the Government St. shops and downtown core. The block between Douglas and Blanshard is full of great food quick food spots and a great chocolate shop. Further up Fort St. from Blanshard all the way to Cook st. is home to interesting independent and unique shops. Antique finds, great indoor plant shop. Clothing shops including Folk and a new shop SALT, are both west coast simple and stylish.
Uptown Centre is a modern indoor/outdoor mall with well knows brands including a Walmart. Uptown is located just out of town, not far.
