The Merge is among us! Ethereum is merging to Ethereum 2.0! Soon, the current Ethereum Mainnet will merge with the Beacon Chain proof-of-stake (PoS) system. This will mark the end of proof-of-work (PoW) for Ethereum, and the full transition to PoS.
And we’re celebrating by launching another meme contest! For this contest the category is ETH Merge and the prize pool is $1,000 USD in NUDES tokens as well as a Nudes Army OG NFT (currently a $1,200 value) to the first place winner!
Who?
The contest is open to everyone. If you haven’t already signed up for a Nudes Army account, you can sign up here.
But if you’re a Nudes Army Hired Gun (by owning a Nudes Army Hired Gun or OG NFT), we’ve already given you a 4-day head start on this!
What?
Your job is to create the best meme the world has ever seen. For this contest, you will create memes related to the ETH Merge and post them on our MemeSite in the EthMerge category to earn upvotes (and/or downvotes).
Nudes Army NFT Bonus
Not only will Nudes Army Hired Guns and OGs receive a five-day head start on the contest compared to everyone else, they will also receive a multiplier on meme upvotes when we tally them.
- Hired Gun Multiplier: 1.05x upvotes
- OG Multiplier: 1.1x upvotes
For example, if Jill gets 100M NUDES total upvotes* on her meme and she is a Hired Gun, we’ll tally Jill’s meme at 105M NUDES upvotes for the contest.
If Jack gets 100M NUDES total upvotes* on his meme and he is an OG, we’ll tally Jack’s meme at 110M upvotes for the contest.
* Upvotes - downvotes = total upvotes. NFTs cannot be stacked for multiple multipliers.
Bonus Airdrop for Everyone
We will also airdrop 1 trillion NUDES divided equally between all accounts that have completed at least one task* and have claimed NUDES at least once before Monday, September 5, 2022!
This airdrop will give all active accounts NUDES! You won’t be able to immediately withdraw these NUDES as they are to be used on the platform only. However you can use these NUDES to post memes and comments, and earn more NUDES that can be withdrawn (normal withdrawal thresholds apply).
* The Daily rewards for being awesome! bonus is not included. This is a passive task for just having an account and does not require any action from users, therefore it’s excluded.

*We will divide and distribute the Excellence Awards prize allocation to any number of memes we deem very high quality and worthy of an Excellence Award. For example, $500 may go to one meme creator or $100 may go to five meme creators.
When?
Thursday, August 25, 2022 — We announced that the meme subject/category is ETH Merge to Nudes Army Hired Guns and OGs.
Monday, August 29, 2022 — The EthMerge category has opened on the Nudes Army MemeSite. We have now announced to everyone else what the meme subject/category is.
Monday, September 5, 2022 — We will airdrop 1 trillion NUDES divided equally for all accounts that completed at least one task* (see Bonus Airdrop for Everyone section above) and have claimed NUDES at least once before Monday, September 5, 2022!
Monday, September 19, 2022 — The contest ends and upvote counts will be tallied along with any multipliers. We will also choose which memes will get the Excellence Awards prize allocation.
