With that said, TIPS is now in the “Assessment Zone” on the MEXC Global centralized exchange (CEX). This means TIPS will likely be delisted on MEXC in the near future. There are several reasons behind this.
We listed our token on MEXC very early on in the project roadmap and we discovered there was no way we could sustain the required trading volume for years to come.
We’ve come to realize that listing early on a CEX seems like a bad strategy as they want to have fresh projects that they later delist if and when volume slows down. Listing on DEXs gives us more control and market making is much easier since DEXs use Automated Market Makers (AMMs).
On top of that, Meme2Earn’s soon-to-be-released Credits system replaces the need for any CEX since project owners will no longer be required to buy TIPS on a CEX to run meme contests. More information on that coming soon, including more ROI perks for OGs.
