Chester DeWayne Turner, born on November 5, 1966, in Warren, Arkansas, moved to Los Angeles at the age of five after his parents separated. He attended Locke High School in Los Angeles but dropped out of high school and ended up working for Domino’s Pizza as a cook and delivery person. Turner lived with his mother until she moved to Utah, after which he moved around to different homeless shelters and missions. His criminal record includes multiple convictions for theft, drug possession, and rape, leading to seven jail sentences between 1995 and 2002, with one assault charge on an officer in 1997.
