Meet Brigada 4x4 A.C. — Nonprofit Organization in Tijuana,
Baja California in Mexico, that provides free emergency assistance. These are the Facebook page and the regular web page of the rescue team.
Hector Montano is the director of Brigada 4x4 A.C. He uses Memento Database app together with about 20 people in his team to provide activity reports when helping citizens in need of help.
Memento Database is used to share information such as GPS location, to locate rescuers in rugged areas and be able to mark when Brigada 4x4 A.C. finds evidence or people, taking pictures and GPS location, time the report was made, and time the pictures were taken.
One of the features the team finds very practical is filtering information and being able to synchronize via internet the data instantly.
Memento Database Android app allows to work with the location points on Google Maps, giving users a handy way to manage places: by adding the GPS coordinates, writing the address or choosing it right on the map. It can be also very helpful to see all the places on one map, each one having the marker of the entry it referrers to.
