The Unexpected Change
Butterflies🦋🦋 ….. Every single soul on earth is fascinated by this ephemeral beauty. My four-year-old is so crazy about its life cycle, she asks, “Amma, do you know what comes out of a pupa?”
I have to say, “A caterpillar?”
“No Amma, a butterfly!”, she says and squeals with so much joy every time.
I have always wondered what fascinates her so much about this… Maybe it was the change — the unexpected change.
Let me spin a story.
From the day a caterpillar is born, he has a vision of himself. He starts his journey. He may be ridiculed by other creatures for not socializing, he may have to hear the grumbling of plants for eating away their leaves but he stays focused. This way, no one would know of the struggle he endures during his growth, he spins a cocoon around himself. Weeks later he still has to find that perfect hole so that he can squeeze himself out draining all his body fluids to his wings and wait till his wings become stronger to take him to new heights.

Let’s get inspired by this green, small, fuzzy, crawling creature.

âť– Own who you are. No one can understand your anguish better than you. Fight your demons and detoxify your thoughts.
❖ And finally, a moment comes when you realize you no longer resemble your old self, that is when you’ll have changed.
This new You is Confident, Self-Worthy, Mindful of his/her thoughts and actions, carries a positive aura and can bring a smile to those who cross his/her path.
Just like a butterfly.
