Today, traffic moves very quickly (and sometimes very wildly) on Riverside Drive. Pedestrians attempting to cross the street (or even to enjoy the park) are often placed in an unsafe situation.

As part of the transformation of Tom Lee Park, Riverside Drive will undergo a makeover to calm traffic. Working with the City of Memphis, the goal is to create a safer, more inviting, and more accessible riverfront for all users.

Join Memphis River Parks Partnership at 4:30 PM on Monday, September 21 for a virtual public meeting to discuss making Riverside Drive safer. This virtual meeting will include a presentation of the anticipated improvements to the street and an opportunity to share your ideas and comments to improve safety on Riverside Drive.

RSVP is required at http://bit.ly/SafeRSD
